Michael has been a powerhouse in the Wisconsin music scene in recent years. Since arriving in the Milwaukee area from his native Poland in 1991 he has established himself as a formidable player and writer developing interest regionally and nationally in his performing and studio work.

He originally formed Beyond the Mirror in 1994 as a three-piece instrumental group. After winning several contests and developing a following, Michael decided that the only way to take the project further was to add a vocal element and go for a more traditional rock format while maintaining the progressive edge that he had been known for.

He continues to be the driving force behind the band and is the primary music writer for the group. His personal musical influences include Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen.
