Throughout his musical life Steve has approached the drums from many different angles taking advantage of a wide variety of performance situations to improve his overall skills. He was a member of the original instrumental version of Beyond the Mirror and has played an important role in helping the band move toward more diverse and progressive territory.

Steve currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and, as a traditional native of the Dairy State, enjoys hunting and fishing. His personal musical influences include Yes, Kiss, Carl Palmer, Neil Peart and Phil Collins.
